1枚のカードで6つの和音が鳴ります。そして位置と和音の対応が12枚すべてで同じです。

One card gives you six chords — and the position-to-chord mapping is identical on all twelve cards.

つまり同じ手の動きのまま、カードを持ち替えるだけで移調できます。C/Am のカードで「3・4・5 → 5・6・7 → 1・2・3」と吹けば C → F → G。まったく同じ動きを G/Em のカードでやれば G → C → D です。運指を覚え直す必要がありません。

So the same hand motion transposes when you swap the card. On the C/Am card, "3-4-5 → 5-6-7 → 1-2-3" plays C → F → G. The very same motion on the G/Em card plays G → C → D. Nothing to relearn.

位置は、窓を上にして吹き込み口を手前に置いたときの、左から数えた番号です。カードには主音の位置に＊が刻んであるので、そこを目印にできます。

Positions are counted from the left, with the windows facing up and the mouthpiece edge towards you. The tonic pipe is marked with a ＊ on the card, so you can find it by touch.

1枚に I・IV・V の主要三和音と ii・iii・vi が入ります。つまり長調とその平行短調の和音がひと通りそろいます。欠けるのは vii°（減三和音）だけです。

Each card carries the primary triads I, IV, V plus ii, iii and vi — a major key and its relative minor in one card. Only vii° (the diminished triad) is missing.

左端が最低音、右へ行くほど高くなり、順に吹くと長音階が1オクターブ鳴ります。

Lowest pipe on the left, highest on the right. Blow them in order and a major scale rises through one octave.

和音の Chordika に対する、音階の Recorika です。名前は recorder（リコーダー）から来ています。読みは「リコリカ」、Chordika は「コーディカ」です。

Recorika is the scale counterpart to Chordika's chords. The name comes from "recorder".

調は G・A♭・A の3つです。1オクターブには根音から数えて13半音ぶんの幅が要ります。この笛が安定して鳴る音域は14半音ぶんしかないので、根音に置ける音はこの3つしかありません。ドを C にすると最高音が 4186 Hz となり、音域を大きく外れます。3枚とも実際に刷って、全8音が鳴ることを確かめてあります。

Chordika と組み合わせるなら、同じ調のカードを選んでください。A♭ の Recorika と A♭/Fm の Chordika で、旋律と伴奏がそろいます。

Three keys: G, A♭ and A. An octave spans thirteen semitones from the root, and the reliable range of these pipes is only fourteen — so these three roots are the only ones that fit. Starting on C would put the top note at 4186 Hz, far outside the range. All three have been printed and every one of the eight notes speaks.

To play alongside Chordika, pick the matching key — a Recorika in A♭ and a Chordika in A♭/Fm give you melody and accompaniment in the same key.

Recorika Chromatic — 12本の半音

Recorika Chromatic — twelve semitones

12本の笛に、半音を1つずつ並べたカードです。左端が最低音の G#6、右へ半音ずつ上がって、右端が G7。1オクターブの12の音がすべてそろいます。

Twelve pipes, one semitone apart. The lowest, G#6, is on the left; each pipe to the right is a semitone higher, up to G7. All twelve notes of the octave are there.

ハーモニカを意識して作りました。12本の吹き口はカードの片側の縁に一直線に並んでいて、その縁に唇を当てたまま、笛を左右に滑らせながら吹きます。2026年10月に、Recorika Chromatic と、それを正方形にした Recorika Chromatic Square の2つを公開しました。2026年11月に、いちばん小さい Recorika Chromatic Tiny を加えました。

It was designed with the harmonica in mind. The twelve mouthpieces sit in a straight line along one edge; put your lips on that edge and slide the card sideways across them as you blow. In October 2026 two models were released: Recorika Chromatic, and its square sibling, Recorika Chromatic Square. In November 2026 the smallest of the family, Recorika Chromatic Tiny, joined them.

あまり練習しなくても、それらしく曲が吹けます。栗原が2曲に挑戦してみました。上手な演奏というより、挑戦の記録です。

You don't need much practice to get a tune out of it. Kurihara gave two songs a try — think of these as attempts rather than polished performances.

笛の動かしかたと吹きかたで、いろいろなことが起きる

Move the card, change how you blow, and several things happen

笛を左右に滑らせると、半音階。12本の吹き口が並ぶ縁に唇を当てたまま、笛を左右に滑らせると、隣の吹き口へ1本ずつ移り、半音ずつ上り下りします。ピアノの白鍵に指を滑らせると、ドレミの音階が鳴ります。ふつうのハーモニカは、吹いたまま横に滑らせるとドミソの和音の音が並び、ドレミを出すには吹く息と吸う息を切り替えなければなりません。滑らせるだけで半音階が鳴る楽器は、半音ごとに穴を並べた特殊なハーモニカなど、ごく一部に限られます。
揺らすとトリル。隣の笛は必ず半音なので、笛を左右に小さく揺らすだけで半音のトリルになります。1本とばして揺らせば、全音のトリルです。
広く吹くと、同時に鳴る。口がかかった本数だけ、まとめて鳴ります。ただし隣どうしは半音なので、響きは濁ります。きれいな和音は Chordika の担当です。
速く広く吹くと、口笛のように聞こえる。1本ずつなら刻みのある半音階なのに、速く、広めに吹きながら滑らせると、音がつながって聞こえます。グリッサンドは口笛のように、トリルはビブラートのように聞こえます。半音しか離れていない2本が強さを入れ替えながら鳴ると、耳がその間を埋めるようです。この笛の音は口笛と同じく純音に近く、音域もほぼ同じです。
初心者にやさしい。音の高さは管の長さで決まっているので、外れた音が出ません。適当に音を出しながら、グリッサンド気味に笛を滑らせて、正しい音を探り当てられます。
とても安い。材料は1枚 10 g ほどで、金属のリードも動く部品もありません。3Dプリンタがあれば、何枚でも刷れます。

Slide the card sideways, and you get a chromatic scale. Keep your lips on the edge where the twelve mouthpieces line up and slide the card sideways across them: you move to the next mouthpiece one at a time, and the pitch climbs or falls a semitone at a time. Run a finger along a piano's white keys and you get do-re-mi. Slide an ordinary harmonica sideways while blowing and you get the notes of a do-mi-sol chord; for do-re-mi you have to switch between blowing and drawing. Only a few instruments, such as special harmonicas with one hole per semitone, give you a chromatic run just by sliding.
Wiggle it, and you get a trill. Neighbouring pipes are always a semitone apart, so wiggling the card a little from side to side gives a semitone trill. Skip a pipe and it is a whole-tone trill.
Blow wide, and several notes sound at once. Every pipe your mouth covers speaks. Neighbours are a semitone apart, though, so the sound is a cluster rather than a chord — clean chords are Chordika's job.
Play fast and wide, and it sounds like whistling. One pipe at a time it is a stepped chromatic scale, but slide the card quickly with a wide mouth and the steps blur together: a glissando sounds whistled, and a trill sounds like vibrato. When two pipes a semitone apart trade loudness, the ear seems to fill in the pitch between them. The pipes' tone is close to a pure tone, like whistling, and sits in nearly the same range.
Kind to beginners. Each pitch is fixed by its pipe length, so there are no wrong notes in between. Blow anything, slide the card around, and home in on the note you want.
Very cheap. About 10 g of filament per card, with no metal reeds and no moving parts. With a 3D printer you can make as many as you like.

3つのモデル

Three models

Recorika Chromatic と Recorika Chromatic Square は、クレジットカード（85.6 × 54 mm）とは大きさが違います。短いほうの辺が 64.5 mm あり、カードの短い辺より 10 mm ほど長いので、財布のカード入れには収まりません。

Recorika Chromatic　12本の管を、ゆったりした間隔で並べた基本のモデルです。64.5 × 80.7 × 4 mm、約 11.8 g。

Recorika Chromatic Square　12本の間隔を詰めて正方形にし、少しコンパクトでおしゃれにしたモデルです。64.5 × 66.0 × 4 mm、約 9.7 g。

Recorika Chromatic Tiny　いちばん小さいモデルです。66.0 × 53.8 × 4 mm、約 9.4 g で、外形はクレジットカードの内側に収まります。

音程と音質は、Recorika Chromatic（通常のモデル）のほうが安定します。初めて刷るなら、まず通常のモデルをおすすめします。

Recorika Chromatic and Recorika Chromatic Square are not credit-card sized (85.6 × 54 mm). The shorter side is 64.5 mm, about 10 mm longer than a card's short side, so they will not fit in a wallet's card slot.

Recorika Chromatic — the basic model, with the twelve pipes at a generous spacing. 64.5 × 80.7 × 4 mm, about 11.8 g.

Recorika Chromatic Square — the pipes packed closer into a square: a little more compact, and a little more stylish. 64.5 × 66.0 × 4 mm, about 9.7 g.

Recorika Chromatic Tiny — the smallest model. 66.0 × 53.8 × 4 mm, about 9.4 g, and its outline fits inside a credit card's.

Pitch and tone are steadier on the standard Recorika Chromatic. If you are printing one for the first time, start with the standard model.

Recorika Chromatic has been printed on a Bambu Lab H2D in white PETG, and all twelve pipes sound well. Pre-sliced 3mf files (H2D, right nozzle, white PETG) are provided too.

層の高さは 0.08 mmで、Chordika と同じです。
中の詰まった層（internal solid infill）の速さを 70 mm/s ほどに落としてください。白い PETG を既定の速さ（H2D では 250 mm/s）で刷ったところ、2層目で崩れました。
ほかのプリンタやフィラメントでの結果は、まだ確かめていません。

0.08 mm layers, the same as Chordika.
Slow the internal solid infill down to about 70 mm/s. At the H2D's default speed (250 mm/s), white PETG collapsed on the second layer.
Other printers and filaments have not been tried yet.

表紙と箱

Cover card and box

表紙は笛の入っていない薄い板で、Chordika の文字を切り抜いてあります。厚みは 0.5 mm、大きさとストラップ穴の位置はカードと同じなので、12枚の上に重ねて紐を通せばそのまま束ねられます。このページのいちばん上の写真で、左に写っている白い板がそれです。

The cover card is a thin plate with no pipes, with “Chordika” cut through it. It is 0.5 mm thick and shares the cards' outline and strap-hole position, so it sits on top of the twelve and threads onto the same cord. It is the white plate on the left in the photo at the top of this page.

箱は、上が開いた本体と、外側にかぶせる蓋の2つに分かれています。カードを立てずに平積みで13枚ぶん収められ、蓋の天面には表紙と同じ Chordika の文字を切り抜いてあります。長辺には指がかりのくぼみがあるので、カードをつまんで取り出せます。かぶせた状態でおよそ 94 × 62 × 57 mm です。

The box comes in two parts: an open tray and a lid that slips over its outside. All thirteen cards lie flat inside, and the lid has the same “Chordika” cut through its top. A scallop on each long side lets you pinch a card out. Closed, it measures about 94 × 62 × 57 mm.

Bambu Lab A1 mini をお使いなら（スライス済み・PLA）

If you have a Bambu Lab A1 mini (pre-sliced, PLA)

下の 3mf はすでにスライスしてあるので、そのまま印刷に送れます。設定は上に書いたとおり（0.08 mm・ブリム5 mm・サポートなし）で、フィラメントは Bambu PLA Basic、1枚あたり約 8.5 g・1時間15分ほどです。

These 3mf files are already sliced — send them straight to the printer. Settings are as described above (0.08 mm, 5 mm brim, no supports), the filament is Bambu PLA Basic, and each card takes about 8.5 g and 1 h 15 min.

The cover and the box are sliced too. The box holds no pipes, so it uses ordinary 0.2 mm layers — there is no need to print it as finely as the cards.

おまけ：笛の並びを左右逆にした逆並び版もあります（STL ／ 3mf）。このページの図はすべて通常版のものなので、逆並び版では左右が入れ替わります。

Bonus: an inverted version with the pipe order mirrored is also available (STL / 3mf). Every figure on this page shows the standard version, so left and right are swapped on the inverted one.

印刷の設定

Print settings

層の高さ 0.08 mm、外壁の線幅 0.5 mm。笛の壁が薄いので、ここは粗くしないでください。
サポートは不要です。そのまま平置きで刷れます。
1枚ずつ刷ってください。1プレートに2枚並べると、1層あたりの時間が倍になってカードの端が反ります。ブリムを付けても止まりません。
ブリムは 5 mm 程度付けると安定します。隙間（brim gap）は 0 にしてください。隙間を空けるとブリムが本体に融着せず、押さえの役目を果たしません。
白い PLA で良好な結果が出ています。透明の PETG も美しく、中の共鳴管が透けて見えます。
箱は 0.2 mm の標準設定で、サポートなしで刷れます。本体も蓋も開口部を上に向けて平置きするだけで、張り出しはありません。

0.08 mm layers, 0.5 mm outer wall. The pipe walls are thin — do not print this coarse.
No supports needed. Print flat, as-is.
One card per plate. Two cards on one plate double the time per layer, and the card edges curl. A brim alone will not stop it.
Use a brim of about 5 mm, with a brim-to-object gap of 0. With a gap the brim never fuses to the part and holds nothing.
White PLA works well. Translucent PETG is beautiful too — you can see the bores through the plate.
The box prints at ordinary 0.2 mm layers with no supports. Both parts sit flat with their opening up; nothing overhangs.

吹く前に、必ず表面の尖った箇所を取り除いてください。刷り上がりには細かいバリや角が残ります。口を当てて吹く道具なので、そのままだと危険です。私は何度か口を切りそうになりました。カードの縁と、笛の吹き口まわりを指でなぞって確かめ、引っかかるところをやすりやカッターの背でならしてください。

Remove any sharp spots before you blow into it. A fresh print leaves fine burrs and sharp corners, and this is an instrument you put to your lips — as printed it is not safe. I have come close to cutting my mouth on one more than once. Run a finger along the card's edges and around the mouthpieces, and smooth anything that catches with a file or the back of a knife.

吹きかた。8本の吹き口は、カードの片側の縁に一直線に並んでいます。その縁に唇を当てたまま、笛を左右に滑らせながら吹きます。口をすぼめ、リコーダーと同じくらいの息で。強く吹きすぎると1オクターブ上に飛びます。和音を出すときは、隣り合う3本にまたがるように口を当てて、一息で吹きます。

How to blow. All eight mouthpieces sit in a straight line along one edge of the card. Keep your lips on that edge and slide the card sideways across them. Purse your lips and use about as much breath as a recorder. Blow too hard and the pipe jumps an octave. For a chord, cover three adjacent pipes with your mouth and blow them in one breath.
