Applying Micro-slips to Human-Computer Interaction Research

Taking the position of a researcher in human-computer interaction, this work starts from measuring micro-slips as a phenomenon and then considers two ways of applying them to interface design: interfaces that tolerate micro-slips, and interfaces that make active use of micro-slip detection. Through these, it points out the importance of micro-slips in HCI research and sketches directions for future work.
